The other members of the current Board whose terms expire in 12/31/19 are, Kathryn Lorenz, Ph.D. and Art Jarvis. 

Tim Taggart was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Linda Pennington. The term ends after this November’s election. This Board position is one of the open seats you see above (3 to be elected – 4 year term).

*Current Board President Dave Blumberg told Loveland Magazine on August 19, “I will be running as a write in candidate but have not yet filed that form yet.” Blumberg submitted a nominating petition for Loveland City School board with 71 valid signatures. The required number of valid signatures is 75. He has since filed the required paperwork to be a write-in candidate.

As of August 17, 2017, two statewide ballot measures were certified for the ballot in the state of Ohio for the election on November 7, 2017.

  • Campaign finance: As of August 17, 2017, campaigns surrounding the two ballot issues had raised $25.5 million. Around 64 percent of the statewide total came from opponents of Issue 2, including PhRMA and a PhRMA-owned LLC.
