Dear Loveland Magazine Readers,
On Saturday August 15, L.I.F.E. (Loveland Interfaith Effort) sponsored the Student L.I.F.E. Shop held at Prince of Peace Church. Over 200 children from 105 Loveland families received all the necessities to get ready for a new school year. Each child took home a water bottle, a $25 shoe gift card, underwear, socks, personal care items, a Loveland spiritwear t-shirt, and the little ones picked out a new book all carried home in a string backpack. Their parents/guardians were able to sign up and/or learn about school and community programs.
There were smiles all around!
Thank you to all the LIFE volunteers who made this event possible; from registration to donations; set-up to clean-up; buying and packaging, it was a true TEAM effort!!
As in the past, the Loveland community and local businesses stepped up to help make The Student L.I.F.E. Shop a great success. Please support our sponsors!
