Loveland, Ohio – In this exclusive reveal, The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance has allowed the public to see the new 2017 Loveland Valentine Card in Loveland Magazine before its official release on Saturday morning.

The card was designed by Miami Township artist, Bonnie McNett.

On Saturday at the Loveland Kroger the card will be “officially” un-vieled in a unique ceremony that will also feature your chance to meet the 2017 Valentine Lady, Carol Williams. The program will have special guests, entertainment, and many past Valentine Ladies will be in attendance.

This will be your first opportunity to purchase the new card, and McNett will be available to sign her art for you.

McNett, the designer of the 2017 Valentine Card, began her pottery adventure by taking an introductory wheel-throwing course in college, instead of Organic Chemistry II, like her advisor wanted. She is a nature lover and a ceramic artist who has many interests including teaching pottery to children, hiking, cooking, and bird watching. She has donated her time and talents to many local schools, artists groups, and other local charities. She owns Mud Slinger Studio, works at Whistle Stop Clay Works, and is one of the Artists in Residence at Children’s Meeting House Montessori School. She, her husband, and three sons have lived in Miami Township for 12 years.

Williams, her husband and all three of her children graduated from Loveland High School. Over the years she has been a Girl Scout Leader, President of the Lloyd Mann Elementary School PTA, and worked to get many school levies passed. She worked with Dr. Comisar, an Optometrist in Loveland for 12 years. After that, she had a catering business and then worked for Loveland Schools as a Child Nutritionist Supervisor for 10 years before retiring.

McNett is a frequent contributor of writing and photography to Loveland Magazine.
