Passionate about nature and love working with children?

Granny’s Garden School is seeking qualified people to join their renowned team of Garden Educators. Are you passionate about nature and love working with children in preschool through fifth? Garden Educators use schoolyard nature-based lessons and activities to teach students as part of their school day.  Lesson guides are aligned with state standards, and provide multiple cross-curricular connections.

This is a seasonal, part-time, weekday position. Garden Educators work August to early November, mid-March to early June, and one week in January.  Weekly work hours are expected to be 6 to 8 hours.  There is one opening in the Loveland program and one opening at the satellite program at Stewart Elementary School in Sharonville.

They provide a schedule of activities and detailed lessons, as well as training to insure you are prepared to lead classes.

If you enjoy interacting with large groups of children, are dependable, computer literate, organized, and enthusiastic, and like working outdoors, this may be a good fit for you.

Read more about Granny’s Garden School and  the Garden Educator position. Then tell them about yourself.  Email a letter sharing your volunteer and employment history, why you are right for this job, and if you are applying for the position at Loveland or Stewart.
