Luke Waddell led the Tiger running game with 20 runs and 106 yards.

 

The Loveland Tiger football opener at Lakota East High School was postponed Friday before it got underway, because of “extreme lightning”. It was extreme heat at the 10 AM Saturday start.

East’s Tyler VanFossen ran 26 times, averaging 9.2 each carry with 239 running yards. VanFossen scored 4 touchdowns and kicked 4 extra points. He added a 32 yard field goal and punted twice.

Luke Waddell led the Tiger running game with 20 runs and 106 yards. Ryan Bagnoli ran the ball 11 times for 100 total, averaging 9.1.

Zion Wynn scored for Loveland on a 35 yard run in the 1st quarter. Waddell ran the ball in from the 11 in the 4th.

Loveland travels again this Friday to Lebanon. Game time is 7 PM at James Van De Grift Stadium. Lebanon lost at Kings last week 35 – 7.
