This is the message from the public address system during pre-game ceremonies at the annual Military Appreciation Night at the Loveland varsity football game on Saturday, October 15. The Tigers defeated the Glen Este Trojans, 55-20. (See game state HERE) This was the last football game vs. Glen Este. The school will combine with Amelia High School next year to become The West Clermont Wolves of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.

As we prepare to show our appreciation on this special evening to honor our current Military and all the Armed Forces Veterans as well as our local police and fire men and women who keep our communities safe, please remember to take the time to thank those who made this evening possible throughout the history of our great nation. We enjoy the freedom we have because someone else went before us to make that possible.

America’s fighting men and women sacrifice much to ensure that our great nation stays free. We owe a debt of gratitude to the soldiers that have paid the ultimate price for this cause, as well as for those who are blessed enough to return from the battlefield unscathed.

The dedication of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard and our First Responders involved in the missions to keep this country free and communities safe cannot be matched. We express our gratitude to these men and women who defend the freedom and safe environments that America represents.

Again, Loveland High School and the Loveland Community would like to welcome all active military and first responders, as well as United States Armed Forces Veterans who have joined us this evening for our Military Appreciation Game.  The Loveland Varsity Football Team are wearing the special Camo Jerseys for tonight’s game to honor all past and present service men and women.
