A statement released from U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup of Ohio’s 2nd District:
The U.S. Supreme Court upheld ObamaCare and declared that 6.4 million Americans can continue receiving subsidies even though they purchased health insurance on the federal exchange.
I agree with Justice Scalia – “we should start calling this law SCOTUScare,” based on how many times the Supreme Court has bent over backwards to save the healthcare law from itself. Read more from Scalia’s dissent here.
Despite this ruling, I will continue fighting to repeal this law that is harming the majority of Americans, and replace it with solutions that will make care more affordable and available for all.
