The intent of this group is to form friendships and bond within the group. I would like to form a “tribe” within the community where we can all share common interests and goals that lead to friendships.  That is why I am limiting the zip code radius within 5 miles of Loveland.

Fifty is the time for creating new ideas, friendships, activities and volunteer opportunities. Do you want to travel? Let’s find some places to go! Do you want to find some new interests? Let’s find some new educational or others class opportunities!  Do you have extra time and would like to volunteer? There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available for you to lend you talent. Loveland and the surrounding area has a great historic downtown, great nature sites, a new bustling expansion of the local downtown, wonderful artisans, sporting opportunities, and a new place for the farmer’s market. Come explore with us and see what the city of Loveland and the surrounding area has to offer while making new friends!

Loveland Over 50 Christmas Party and Christmas in Loveland

We will begin our Christmas Festivities with a Christmas Potluck and White Elephant Exchange.  Everyone is asked to bring an appetizer or dessert and BYOB.  We will have a white elephant gift exchange.  This is either an item you no longer want but think someone else would or you can spend up to $10.  Items will be placed in a container and everyone will draw a gift.  Then we will play “Steal it” several times.  Please be sure to wrap your gift.  There will also be a game or two for prizes.  After we are done we will head to downtown Loveland and enjoy the festivities!

You have sung about them but have you ever really seen chestnuts roasting on an open fire? You will at Christmas in Loveland

Children singing, the clip clop and jingle of horse drawn carriages and the smell of hot cider will again grace Christmas in Loveland. Christmas in Historic Loveland features free horse drawn carriage rides and some of the areas finest children and adult choirs. Choirs will be performing continuously beginning at 4:30 pm.

As you stroll around downtown, make sure to stop in and meet the owners of the businesses. They’d love to meet you and say “thanks” with a special goodie or two for your patronage during the last year.

The Loveland Museum will have an express carriage the evening of Christmas in Loveland, Saturday December  from 5pm to 9pm. The carriage will go from downtown to the museum & back. No waiting to return to the downtown area.

They will have periodic music, refreshments, and our gift shop open.  The Rich Log cabin will be a place to create children’s crafts. Come join the fun. Punch and cookies will be served.
