Harrison wins in overtime
Loveland, Ohio – In the season opener, Harrison’s Darien Smith led all scorers Saturday in the Loveland gym with 23 points in a victory over the Loveland Tigers. He also pulled down 14 rebounds and made 11 of 18 free-throws.
Drew Plitt led Loveland’s scoring with 17. Jack Gary hit 3 three-pointers and added 11 to the Loveland scoring.
The Tigers were behind by 12 at the half, but a 19-4 third quarter gave them a three point lead. Harrison outscored the Tigers 19-16 in the fourth to take the game into an extra period.
Loveland next hosts Withrow on Friday. Game time is 7:30 PM and the JV plays at 6 PM.
