Moeller coach enters Tiger Country

Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School has announced that Andy Cruse will be the next Head Varsity Football Coach. Cruse’s hiring is pending Board Approval.

Cruse has coached varsity football at Moeller for the past three years, serving as the Special Teams Coordinator for the last two. He began his football coaching career in 2015 at Turpin High School. 

Cruse had a playing career that went all the way to the NFL. He was an undrafted free agent for the Houston Texans in 2013 where he played for a Super Bowl winning coach, Gary Kubiak. He earned a spot on their practice squad for the 2013 season, following a pre-season that included a touchdown at Cowboy Stadium. The following year he was in camp with the Minnesota Vikings.

Cruse attended Miami University. He captained the RedHawks his senior year in 2012. They were Mid-American conference champions in 2010 and finished with a record of 10-4. He was a part of a high powered offense and sits at #6 all time in receptions at Miami University with 160 catches. 

Andy and his wife, Ashley, have been married for over two years and reside in Milford, Ohio.
