  • Now this is what an apology looks like: No B.S. about Testerman Park toilets

Now this is what an apology looks like: No B.S. about Testerman Park toilets

    Dear Testerman Park Users,

We received several complaints about the conditions of the portable restrooms in Testerman Park for the weekend of May 2-3rd.  On behalf of Hamilton Township, I would like to apologize for the conditions of the facilities if you or your children had to use them.   The portable restroom vendor failed to empty the tanks on the normally scheduled maintenance day and they did not report that issue to the Township.  Management was not aware of the conditions until we received an email from the Park Director, Bruce Scott over the weekend and then several resident emails today.

We now have a system in place to make sure the restrooms are inspected each Friday so this does not happen in the future.  Again we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    Township Administrator

  • Intersection of Foster-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road in Hamilton Township will be closed for ten (10) weeks

Intersection of Foster-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road in Hamilton Township will be closed for ten (10) weeks

Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer has announced that effective Monday, May 18, the intersection of Foster-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road in Hamilton Township will be closed for ten (10) weeks.

The closure will include the full intersection which is located between US22/SR3 and SR48. The safety improvements at the intersection are anticipated to be complete on July 24, weather permitting.

According to Tunison, “Currently, the intersection of Foster-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road is below standards in terms of sight distance and safety.”

The improvements being constructed include the adding of a left turn lane on Foster-Maineville Road for westbound traffic turning south onto Butterworth Road as well as clearing to increase sight distance at the intersection.

The detour will utilize Old 3C Highway, US22/SR3 and SR48.

For more information, visit http://www.wceo.us/ or contact the Warren County Engineer at (513) 695-3302.
