In Singular Focus is an art show and sale where works will feature a part, aspect or section of an overall subject. Examples might include: a single architectural element of a building; a segment of a grave stone; a particular bridge structure emphasis. Flora and fauna are eligible with a cameo focus on the subject.
Works must be inspired by scenes within the Heritage Village; or, within the greater Milford, Ohio area. Artists are encouraged to explore upcoming events at the Heritage Village for interesting theme opportunities. Visit www.heritagevillagecincinnati.org for information.
Eligibility: Local/regional professional and amateur artists are invited to submit an entry for this exhibition. Entries are limited to two complementary works per person. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. At their discretion, show presenters have the right to decline an entry based on quality and/or if it does not meet the intended theme of the show.
Media: All media, all visual disciplines.
Size: While there is no official size restriction, artists should consider how a final piece will show within a gallery-style exhibition.
REGISTRATION
Registration: Artists must register to participate in the exhibition/sale. Registration is via email (see How to Register) and must be received no later than June 15, 2016.
Registration fee: There is no jury or registration fee for registrations received by June 15, 2016. Registrations after this date may be subject to a $10 late fee.
Registration expectations: By registering for the art show, artists are confirming intent to participate and abide by all guidelines.
