Symmes Township, Oho – In honor of Symmes Township’s 200th anniversary, the township is hosting an event on Saturday, July 20th at Home of the Brave Park, 11605 Lebanon Road, packed with activities, food, and entertainment.
From Noon to 10 PM, Home of the Brave Park will transform into a festival ground, free and open to the public.
. Highlights of the event include:
- Inflatables and Games: Kids and adults alike can bounce, climb and play on a variety of inflatable attractions and show off their skills at carnival games.
- Cincinnati Circus Entertainment: Be amazed by incredible performances from Cincinnati Circus featuring thrill shows, aerial acrobats, jugglers, magicians, and stilt walkers who will perform throughout the day.
- Food Trucks: Savor a diverse selection of mouth-watering food and drinks from our lineup of 17 popular food trucks, offering something for every palate.
- Live Music: Enjoy live music performances from Blue Eighty, Naked Karate Girls, Michelle Robinson Band, and Fortunate Sons.
- Fireworks Finale: The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display that will light up the night sky and commemorate this historic milestone for Symmes Township.
“The Bicentennial Blast is a celebration of our rich history and vibrant community spirit,” said Jeff Reichman, Symmes Township Bicentennial Committee Chair. “We invite everyone to join us in marking this special occasion and creating lasting memories with family and friends.”
Parking will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities comfortably.
