I’d do this for free
By Chad Hilliker, Loveland City School District superintendent
I’m sure you’ve heard this; perhaps you’ve even said it. I want to take this opportunity to offer a sincere thank you to the countless members of the Tiger Family who put these words into practice each school year. While we couldn’t thrive without the valued members of our Tiger Staff, the volunteers who help us from the classroom to the show choir to the field are absolutely priceless.[quote_right]If you’ve ever helped a child with homework, chaperoned a field trip, chauffeured a student to and from a performance or competition… I thank you.[/quote_right]
Thank you to the parents who have given their time to raise funds through PTA organizations to enhance the educational opportunities for all of our students.
Thank you to the booster group members who support our academics, arts and athletics – making the Loveland experience so very special for each student who they support.
Thank you to the community members who have offered their services to help me organize advisory groups as we move our district forward toward an exciting future.
If you’ve ever helped a child with homework, chaperoned a field trip, chauffeured a student to and from a performance or competition… I thank you. We simply couldn’t do what we do without your help – year after year. As this school year comes to a close, I want to personally tell you WE are Many Stripes; One Tiger – and the role you play is vital to our success.
While you are willing to do this work for free, my hope is that the smiles you see across the faces of the lives you positively impact makes it all worth it.
Dedicated to the future of our students,
Chad Hilliker
