Farm To Table Pulled Pork Dinner

July 30th 6-7:30pm!
Join Blooms & Berries Farm Market and Pickles and Bones Barbecue for a wonderful outdoor, family friendly, locally sourced dinner at the Farm.  The meal centers around smoked pulled pork from natural raised Berkshire hogs raised at Carroll Creek Farms in Waynesville.  Sides will include a local red skin potato salad, local fire roasted sweet corn and fresh tomato medley, home made bread and butter pickles (from local ingredients) and chef team Nicole & Jo

sh’s signature hoe cakes with sorghum butter.  Enjoy this summer meal with ice cold lemonade.  Dessert will be a warm fresh fruit cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream.  Come hungry and ready to relax on the farm, this family friendly evening on the farm will be the highlight of your weekend!


Chef’s Nicole & Josh have enjoyed strong careers in fine dining restaurants including the Golden Lamb, The Oakroom and The Maisonette.  With a focus on simplistic cooking and great ingredients, they now own and run Pickles and Bones Barbecue.  Pickles and Bones is fast becoming famous for it’s delicious smoked meats, interesting side dishes and fantastic sweets.

Amazing Michigan Sweet Cherries This Weekend!

Last year Jeff & his wife Emily rented a U-haul and drove to Grand Rapids Michigan to make some cherry and blueberry farming friends!  We’re benefiting this week with our second shipment of Michigan sweet cherries and blueberries direct from the farm!  This will probably be our

last Sweet Cherry shipment so stock up this weekend. Find them at our Market Barn and our roadside Produce Tents.

Blueberry Picking
Our Blueberry season is now finished.  We are working very hard to plant many more blueberry plants next Fall.  In order to do so we’re upgrading our irrigation capacity, installing drainage in our fields and amending our soil for the future planting.  It’s a long process and will take several more years before they’re ready to pick but we appreciate your patience as we wish they were ready to pick now too!
