Nonprofit established to serve the Hispanic/Latino community in Greater Cincinnati offers special thank you to LHS Spanish students for movie translation project
Loveland, Ohio – The work was real.
Loveland High School (LHS) students in Bre Sambuchino’s Spanish 3 class were given a rare assignment: translate a movie. The students got to work writing subtitles for the Su Casa Hispanic Center’s film production.

They enjoyed the authentic task and the reflection.”
Gracias was the message from Su Casa; the organization plans to share the film at their 17th Annual Su Casa Award Dinner. Founded in 1997, Su Casa is the primary provider of social, educational, language, employment, and health care services to the Hispanic/Latino community in Greater Cincinnati. The mission is self-sufficiency for the poor and vulnerable of the immigrant community that comes to the U.S. looking for a better way of life for their families.
“It was a rare opportunity and I’m so excited we were able to seize the moment,” said Sambuchino.
