Centerville, Ohio – The Loveland High School Womens Soccer team beat Powell Olentangy Liberty Tuesday night 3-1 to advance to the Ohio Division I championship game.
They will play Walsh Jesuit on Friday in Columbus at Mapfre Stadium (Pronounced MAH-fray) home of the Columbus Crew. The game-time is probably 7 PM, but the official time has not been announced.
Walsh Jesuit beat Medina 2-1 on Tuesday to advance.
Walsh Jesuit has won Ohio State Championships in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2012, 2013, and are the reigning State Champions. They have not been beaten in 89 games, going 82-0-7 during the stretch, according to ohio.com. Their bragging rights include the number 1 ranking in Ohio this year, and National Champions in 2000, 2006, and 2010
Loveland is now 18-3-1 and ranked 8th in Ohio.
