It’s a Holiday Tradition! Just before Thanksgiving each year the Holiday Meal Baskets are ready for client pick-up. Then early in December the Giving Shoppe is open so pre-registered clients can shop free-of-charge for holiday gifts. There is even gift-wrapping available! It’s a wonderful kick-off for the season!
This year L.I.F.E. has approximately 220 families, representing over 550 individuals, signed up for one or both of these wonderful programs.
Clients were able to pre-register for the holiday basket and Giving Shoppe programs a few months ago. Since then donations of new items have been collected from local businesses, residents and churches and range from clothing to housewares. Anyone wanting to donate new items to the Giving Shoppe is encouraged to do so! And for all of your shopping done on Amazon Smile, we are a registered charity and will receive a percentage from your purchases, whether or not it’s for the Giving Shop! Just type in Loveland InterFaith Effort! You may drop items off at L.I.F.E Pantry (donation trunks are located in the southwest vestibule entrance of the Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church) or at the Loveland Music Academy (upstairs at 209 W. Loveland Ave.)
Thanks to the Masonic Lodge for generously allowing us to use their space for the Giving Shoppe! Thank you to ALL of the generous volunteers who make these programs happen! But mostly, “Thank You Loveland”, for once again proving we are a small town with a big heart.
