The Loveland Tiger football opener at Lakota East High School was postponedĀ FridayĀ before it got underway, because of “extreme lightning”. It was extreme heat at the 10 AM Saturday start.
East’s Tyler VanFossenĀ ran 26 times, averaging 9.2 each carry withĀ 239 runningĀ yards. VanFossen scored 4 touchdownsĀ and kicked 4 extra points. He addedĀ a 32 yard field goalĀ and punted twice.
Luke Waddell led the Tiger running game with 20 runs and 106 yards.Ā Ryan Bagnoli ran the ball 11 times for 100 total, averaging 9.1.
Zion Wynn scored for Loveland on a 35Ā yard run in the 1st quarter. Waddell ran the ball inĀ from the 11 in the 4th.
