Loveland, Ohio – Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC), Loveland Primary School (LPS), and Loveland Elementary School (LES) students recently celebrated The Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch Day, with other schools in Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan in consecutively offering local apples in the cafeteria.
“The apples we served came from up north, and we were extremely happy to participate in this well-known event,” said Kris Tracy, food service director. “We are always looking for ways to partner with our local farmers and increase our fresh offerings to students.”
This was the second year the Loveland City School District celebrated The Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch Day.
