Inaugural Fine Arts Signing Day
Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School (LHS) congratulated eight members of the Class of 2016 who decided to continue the pursuit of their artistic talents through acceptance into a higher-education program. LHS hosted the inaugural Fine Arts Signing Thursday, May 5, in the LHS Media Center. Teachers highlighted the artistic careers of the students while at LHS.
“It is appropriate that we should recognize these exceptionally talented student-artists as they begin the next exciting chapter in their educational career,” said LHS Principal Peggy Johnson. “We were thrilled to present this in a formal ceremony so that both students and their family members could celebrate this success.”
The students recognized for their acceptance into a program based on their artistic talents included:

- Ethan Carle, Applied Graphic Communication – University of Cincinnati DAAP
- Madison DeAtley, Painting/Illustration – The Art Academy of Cincinnati
- Tim Kim, Visual Communication Design – University of Cincinnati DAAP
- Sydney Mahon, Musical Theatre – Kent State
- Dean Parker, Screenwriting – Ohio University
- Ashley Salzl, Fine Arts – University of Cincinnati DAPP
- Jennifer Frank, Creative Arts – Miami University
