Loveland, Ohio – Winter Sports Update: Loveland has had a productive Winter Sports season with all of Lovelandās teams finishing in the top 5 in the ECC. Loveland currently sits at 59 points in the All Sports Trophy, which is 6 points behind Turpin (65). After this productive Winter season Loveland looks to take home their second consecutive ECC All Sports Trophy.
The Loveland Womenās Bowling team is one of the teams having a memorable season as they sit at 11-5 overall (8-3 conference). The team is currently in 2nd place in the ECC behind West Clermont (11-0). Leading the way for the teamās success is Senior, Maria Reich. Maria averages 151.0 Pins per game, with a game high of 182, and a series high of 346.
The Loveland Academic team is having a great season as well. The team currently sits at 8-2 overall (8-2 conference). The team is currently in 2nd place behind Walnut Hills (9-1 conference). Loveland is led by experience and looks to attempt to win their first ECC Championship after their 2nd place finish last year.

Over the past two weekends the Loveland Menās and Women’s Basketball teams learned their Sectional Tournament draws. Both the Menās and Women’s teams had great regular seasons with the Women’s team finishing at 16-6 overall (9-5 Conference) which earned them 3rd place in the ECC, only behind Walnut Hills and West Clermont. The Menās team has also had a great regular season, currently sitting at 12-8 overall (7-5 Conference) with two games left in the regular season play.
The Loveland Menās team drew the number 15 seed in the tournament and will play the number 14 seeded team, Mt. Healthy in the first round on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00 PM at Lakota West. Mt. Healthy was 14-6 in the regular season and is currently winning the South Western Ohio Conference with a conference record of 10-1. Analysis of this matchup: Look for a high paced, higher scoring game with lots of transition offense. Both teams average approximately 58 points per game and give up approximately 54.
The Loveland Womenās team drew the number 8 seed and will play the number 15 seeded team, Kings, in the first round on Saturday, February 16th at 2:30 PM at Sycamore. Kings was 10-11 overall in the regular season but tied with Loveland for 3rd in the ECC with a 9-5 ECC record. Analysis of this matchup: Loveland and Kings have played twice on the season splitting games. Loveland won 50-44 at Kings and Kings won 46-42 at Loveland. Overall expect for a lower scoring game and a competitive game as both teams seasons are on the line.
