Loveland, Oh. – Around the holidays, residents can expect a shift in the trash pick-up schedule provided by Rumpke. Trash is not collected on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, so all other trash days are moved back one day.
Customers with service on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will not be affected by Christmas Day. Waste and recycling service will not occur on Thursday, December 25, and collection will be delayed one day for the rest of the week following Christmas Day.
For example, if your trash would normally be picked up on Thursday of next week, then it will now be collected on Friday, while pick-up normally scheduled for Friday will be collected on Saturday.
The same schedule will apply the week of December 29, 2014 – January 3, 2015 for New Year’s Day. The normal schedule will return beginning the week of January 5.
