The Loveland Volleyball team defeated #3 ranked St. Ursula in the sectional finals this past Saturday. This marks the first Division 1 sectional title for the Tigers in program history and the first sectional title since 1998 when Loveland was in Division 3.
The Tigers were lead by great defensive play of Rachael Blumberg and Corrine Wilson. The offense was lead by setter Megan Kirlin who had 54 assists, Marie Plitt with 24 kills and 7 blocks, Mackenzie Atkinson with 10 kills and 7 blocks, and Kim Bailey with 9 kills.
The Tigers advance to District finals Saturday October 29th vs. Springboro at Vandalia Butler HS. Game time is Scheduled for 12:30 PM.
