Essex Knights Head Coach Shawn Burke introduced 2013 Loveland grad Tyler Oblong as one of four captains for the 2016 season on Dec 4. Oblong joins fellow captains James Case (Great Valley), Blake McDonald (Assumption) and Sid Ewell (Carlisle).
Oblong appeared in all 18 games for the Knights in 2015, playing a pivotal role as the Knights finished as the No. 2 team in the country.
Tyler is a 2013 grad of Loveland High School, and was a standout 4-year Varsity lacrosse player for the Tigers. He was a two time All ECC 1st Team, and two time All Southwest Ohio 2nd Team. His major is Business Management.
The Essex Knights are the lacrosse team of Community College of Baltimore County Maryland, competing in the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference, and a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
