Loveland, Ohio – In 2013 the City of Loveland selected IGS Energy to provide a natural gas aggregation program to the community. IGS Energy will mail opt-out notices to existing customers of the natural gas aggregation program and newly eligible customers.The notices will inform existing customers that service will continue with IGS Energy beginning with the April 2016 billing cycle unless the resident opts out. There will be no interruption in service from IGS Energy. Newly eligible customers will receive a letter informing them that their account will be added unless they opt-out. Residents can leave the program at any time with no early termination fee. The notices will feature the City of Loveland logo. Copies of these letters are provided below.
The goal of the aggregation program is to cumulatively beat the price offered by the local utility. The City has a 32-month term with IGS Energy. There is no early termination fee for those who participate and leave early.
