“Do one more thing today for a better tomorrow”
On Earth Day, April 22nd from 6 until 8:30 PM at the Loveland High School auditorium, the Loveland Sustainability Council is inviting everyone for a popcorn, pizza and the viewing of the award winning movie The Clean Bin Project.
Loveland Sustainability Council’s vision is to encourage recycling, reduce waste, and promote sustainability for the future of Loveland. The council consists of local businesses, Loveland’s Farmers’ Market, churches, governmental entities, Loveland High School administrators, teachers, and students around the area.
In a press release the Council says it is their mission to identify obstacles to recycling and create solutions that increase sustainability options for schools, residents and businesses in the Loveland area. Businesses will feature their sustainable practices, games, giveaways, Goodwill textile donations and food. In addition, participants will be challenged to pledge to “do one more thing today for a better tomorrow” as a way to promote practical measures for a more sustainable future.
The event is free of charge and open to the public. For further information, contact [email protected].
