Big and bright – that is how students at Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) described the new computers that filled their learning lab.

“Paired with the great instruction already taking place in the classroom, the access that our LECC students now have in regards to technology is providing for such a dynamic learning experience,” said District Director of Technology David Knapp. “Along with the Android tablets, our new Chromebase computer lab provides opportunities for personalized instruction, as well as practice for our students to gain the knowledge in technology skills needed for their current and future education.”

“The new computers are wonderful,” said LECC Teacher Tammie Chapman. “The kids enjoy computer lab and it gives them a chance to work at different instructional levels.”

“With these new upgraded computers in our lab, our students will be able to more efficiently access and use the programs that help to best match our technology curriculum goals,” said LECC Principal Kyle Bush. “Best of all, each student’s progress can be monitored, and learning time can be spent on using the programs rather than getting bogged down by login issues or troubleshooting.”
