Loveland Early Childhood Center students get a lesson on the rainbow from a well-known Loveland science instructor
Loveland, Ohio – Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) kindergarten students celebrated a day of colorful learning with ROY G BIV (the name stands for the color order of the rainbow) – typically known as Loveland Intermediate School Science Teacher Mr. Steve Federman.
“We look forward to this experience each year,” said LECC Principal Kyle Bush. “You can feel the energy in the room as students learn about the rainbow and color – all from a science super star, Mr. Federman!”
In addition to the lessons Mr. Federman presented, LECC teachers worked with students on mixing the primary colors to make all the colors of the rainbow. Students were also allowed to experiment with bubbles, playdough and other materials mixing the three primary colors to make all the colors in the rainbow.
“This annual event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our PTA,” said Bush. “I want to send a sincere thank you to each member of the PTA, and to all our volunteers for helping create such a vibrant learning experience!”
