Dear Loveland Magazine
by Tom Turner
Loveland-Symmes Firefighter’s Association
Thank you for helping us promote the Kidsfest this year. I would have to call it an overwhelming success, with close to 400 area kids participating in the Halloween Costume Parade that kicked off the 2015 Kidsfest this year.
The parade of princesses, pirates, dinosaurs, firefighters, and all sorts of other incredible costumed trick or treaters stretched from Nisbet Park to the Jackson Street Market.
The day was filled with fun activities for kids and parents alike. Many thanks to Blooms and Berries for donating pumpkins, Five Seasons Sports Club for providing the people and supplies for the pumpkin decorating, The Picture Party Place for providing the Princesses, and Girl Scout Troop 49204 for providing the artists and supplies for face painting, and Loveland Magazine for donating a portion of the Advertising.
This is always one of the Loveland-Symmes Firefighter’s Association’s favorite events, and we hope to continue building on it in the years to come.
Here are some pictures from Saturday.
Stay Safe,
Tom
