pokemon_go_logoLoveland, Ohio – Police Chief Sean Rahe informed Loveland Magazine this morning about a call the police received on Sunday. Rahe said, “We responded to this call this weekend. Apparently Loveland is popular in this game.

Here is the Briefing Report by Officer Angie Smallwood this weekend.

“Call for a large teen fight in progress in the area of Nisbet Park. Screaming and yelling could be heard before arriving on scene.  Once on scene approximately 50 people began walking in different directions staring at their phones. They advised they were playing a Pokemon game and they were screaming with excitement after capturing a Pokemon character.  They advised Loveland was a hotspot for the Pokemon Go game. “

“Loveland is reportedly very popular in the new Pokemon Go game where players capture virtual characters at real-life GPS coordinates,” said Rahe to his officers. “We should be aware in case we get calls for large groups of teens.”
