Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on  Monday, July 17th, at 6 PM. The purpose is to conduct interviews for a vacant Board seat and consider a resolution to appoint a resident to fill the seat.

The meeting will be held in the LIS/LMS Media Center at 757 South Lebanon Road.

The District had previously said their decision would likely be at a meeting on Tuesday, July 18.

Due to the resignation of Kevin Daugherty, the Loveland Board of Education is seeking to fill his seat for the remainder of his term, which is through the end of the current calendar year, December 31, 2023.

According to a press release from the District:

“In accordance with Policy 0169.1, public participation may be permitted at scheduled business meetings of the Board. Hearing of the public will not be included on the agenda of this meeting.  Additionally, this meeting will not be streamed but will be recorded.”

Qualified candidates must be registered voters residing in the Loveland City School District.

The Board is expected to make its appointment at their July 18th, Regular Session.
