Loveland, Oh. – The Loveland Police Division and the Loveland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA) are teaming up for the 2nd annual “Stuff-a-Cruiser” event to benefit the L.I.F.E. (Loveland InterFaith Effort) Food Pantry.
Summer is a particularly busy time for the pantry – kids are home so they’re not receiving meals at school. Some parents have cut their work hours to be home with the children because they cannot afford the expense of child care which means there’s less money in the budget for food – so those pantry shelves empty out fast!
Help restock the L.I.F.E. Pantry by shopping at Kroger’s on July 18th – Loveland police officers and LCPA Alumni members will be on hand to take your purchases and fill up the police vehicle.
Don’t have time to shop? Drive-through” donations will be accepted.
Make your check payable to “L.I.F.E. Pantry”. Another easy way to benefit the Pantry is to register your Kroger Plus card and designate the Pantry to receive matching points–you still get great discounts, fuel points, and all of those “specials”, and the Pantry gets a quarterly check.
L.I.F.E. is located at 101 S. Lebanon Rd. in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Phone 583-8222; email [email protected] Hours are M, W, Sat. 10:00-12:30 and Thurs. 4:00-6:30. Let’s all chip in to help our families in need here in Loveland. Many thanks for your support!
