    Loveland’s Brush Collection

    Loveland, Ohio – The 2022 spring brush pickup program will begin on Monday, March 21. Brush must be placed in the grass near the roadside no later than Sunday night, March 20.

    Note these Guidelines:

    The following are guidelines established for the brush pick-up program:

    • Brush must be placed at the curb or edge of roadway. Do not place brush in the roadway, gutter, ditches, or on sidewalks. Do not block fire hydrants.
    • Limbs cannot exceed 10 inches in diameter at the cut section.
    • Limbs should be placed at the curb with the cut section facing the street and all limbs should be facing the same direction. This makes it easier and faster to handle.
    • No leaves, pine needles, grass clippings, or other yard waste will be collected.
    • Small twigs and sticks should be bundled with twine in bundles 12 inches in diameter. Twigs or sticks can also be placed in a container at the curb, but no other yard waste should be in the containers. Please, no loose piles of sticks and debris.

    Additional Notes:

    • Any material not meeting these requirements cannot be collected and will be left at the curb.
    • Outside the regular pick-up schedule, residents are encouraged to come to City Hall to get a free voucher to drop off any yard waste to Evans Landscaping.
    • Wood chips will be available again this year. Anyone in the City who would like a full load of wood chips should call 513-707-6115.

    Loveland brush pick-up begins Monday

    Loveland, Ohio – Weatherwise it will be a near-perfect weekend to take your brush to the curb. Two times each year, the City of Loveland Public Works Department picks up brush for residents. You do not need to call to schedule your brush pick-up since the crew drives a route throughout the entire City limits.

    The 2021 spring brush pickup program will begin on Monday, March 22. Brush must be placed in the grass near the roadside no later than Sunday night, March 21.

  • Symmes Township approves new contract for yard waste

    Symmes Township approves new contract for yard waste

    Symmes Township, Ohio – The Township has entered into an agreement with Irvine Wood Recovery, 110 Glendale Milford Road, Miamiville 45147 to collect yard waste from June 1 through October 31.

    The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM and Saturdays, weather permitting, 8 AM until Noon (call first (513) 831-0060).

    Irvine Wood Recovery will be closed: Independence Day, and Labor Day.

    The following guidelines apply:

    -Yard waste in commercial vehicles or from commercial establishments cannot be accepted.
    -No large trailers or trucks larger than pickups will be allowed.
    -No pallets, boards, nails, fence, or wire accepted.
    -No stumps, root balls, or cattails.
    -Yard waste must be free of any debris/trash.
    -No bricks, stones or soil accepted.
    -No food materials.
    -All children must stay inside vehicles.

    Please note that this service is for Symmes Township residents only. Residents will be asked to show proof of residency, ie. driver’s license.

    Loveland, Ohio – The City’s 2018 Fall Brush Collection program will begin on Tuesday, November 13. Brush must be placed at the curb no later than Monday night, November 12.  Please review the requirements for brush collection below.  The City says that any material not meeting these requirements will not be collected and will be left at the curb.  If you are unable to meet this schedule, residents are encouraged to come to City Hall to get a free voucher to drop off any yard waste to Evans Landscaping.  Wood chips will be available again this year by calling 513-707-6114.
