Yesterday we had 2 reports of purses stolen from cars at 2 different daycare facilities. This occurred during the morning drop off time between 6:30-7am. The suspect vehicle is a newer model Silver Nissan Altima with a Pennsylvania license plate. (Picture below is example only, not the actual vehicle.)
Parents please be sure to remove or hide your valuables AND lock your doors! If you see this vehicle or any suspicious activity, please report it by calling dispatch at 732-2231 or 911
Also, with the colder weather approaching it is tempting to leave the car running while you run inside for a few minutes to sign the kids in, but it only takes a few seconds for someone to steal a car with the keys in it!
