    Saturday August 24th at Hickory Woods Golf Course will be the 4th annual golf event for Loveland’s own Ben Morrison Fund Golf Outing, benefiting Mental Health wellness, hope, and advocacy in our local young people!

    This is out biggest annual fundraiser – and last year our golf outing raised $18,000!

    The Ben Morrison Fund is proud to have invested over $30,000 in our community through outreach programs and donations relevant to mental health wellness and advocacy.

    • Our Ben’s Way initiative is already in 7 schools in 5 districts, reinforcing positivity
    and building hope.
    • We have sponsored over 30 Ben’s TEAMS awareness events, impacting 52,000+
    • We have given 33 scholarships, equal to $27,500 in 4 years.
    • Over 1390+ Loveland students and 300 teachers and staff have been impacted by our work with Hope Squad, My Fave 5, and the 988 Initiative

    We reach out to children where they are and to our community where they can see us. We sponsor children who are in need. We shout out 988 everywhere we can, so that everyone knows what it is and how to find it in a crisis. We bring animals into the schools for all to connect with. We give coffee and breakfast to teachers and buy them books on mental health. We sponsor events to raise awareness and show up at
    the Flying Pig marathon to cheer people on. We are on the radio, in print, at sporting events, local fairs, corporate functions,
    inclusion events, mental health events, talking to law enforcement, talking to everyone we meet and encouraging one and all to “Cont;nue Your Story“.

    We are passionate about mental health wellness for everyone.

    ABOUT CancerFree KIDS

    CancerFree KIDS aims to find more effective and gentler treatments for childhood cancer by funding innovative research projects in the early stages of development. New ideas need money to grow, yet potential breakthrough treatment methods often go unfunded because pediatric cancer research is drastically limited. CancerFree KIDS provides grants to high-risk/high-reward childhood cancer research projects in these crucial early stages, which allows researchers to prove their concept, secure additional funding, and eventually create new treatments for kids.

    Loveland, Ohio – Summer is quickly approaching which means it’s nearly time for Paxton’s Grill Annual Golf Outing! This will mark the 17th year that Paxton’s has teamed up with CancerFree KIDS to “eradicate cancer as a life-threatening disease in children by funding promising research that might otherwise go unfunded.” This year the golf outing has not only been extended to three days but the donation goal has also risen as last year the Annual Golf Outing raised $85,550 for CancerFree KIDS.

    “Our goal this year is to reach $100,000.00,” the Owner of Paxton’s Grill Ralph Dunnigan said, “Your support of this amazing mission by playing in and/or sponsoring this year’s expanded event is greatly appreciated. Last year we raised more than $85,000 (shattering the previous year’s record) which again will fully fund a CancerFree KIDS research grant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Since the inception of this event, we have raised close to $500,000 with the goal this year to exceed our 2021 total and reach the six-figure mark,” Dunnigan added.

    Paxton’s Grill 17th Annual Golf Outing benefiting CancerFree KIDS will be held on Friday, June 10th, and Saturday, June 11th at Hickory Woods Golf Course in Loveland, Ohio. The new addition of the third day will be held on Monday, June 13th at Oasis Golf Club.

    Last year, CancerFree Kids was presented with a check for $85,550 from the amazing Paxton’s Grill Golf Outing committee. CancerFree KIDS responded by saying, “We want to extend a huge thank you and congratulations to the committee for their hard work in planning another successful event and raising a record amount this year! You are truly giving kids a chance to grow up!”

    Loveland, Ohio – It’s that time of year again for the Annual Paxton’s Grill Golf Outing!

    This year the 16th Annual Paxton’s Grill Golf Outing will be once again benefiting CancerFree Kids, a local non-profit that has made it their mission to raise money for children’s cancer research. The benefit will take place at Hickory Woods Golf Course, located at 1240 Hickory Woods Drive, Loveland, Ohio, on June 11th and 12th.

    Paxton’s Grill Golf Outing has had a great turn out in its past benefits so they set a goal of $75,000 to raise during the outing this year. As of current, they have already reached $17,735.

    Loveland, Ohio – Paxton’s Grill located in the heart of the Loveland Historic Downtown area, organizes a 160 person golf outing each year for a local Loveland non-profit Cancer Free Kids.

    Cancer Free Kids is a non-profit dedicated to research of children’s cancer. 

    Ralph Dunnigan, manager & part owner of Paxton’s Grill saw that his customers and staff wanted to be a part of the community. “ We have everybody come through our restaurant and they are such good, nice people, it just felt right to organize a fundraiser for Cancer Free Kids,” he said. “We put our heads together, formed a committee and each year hold a golf event named, Paxton’s Grill Golf Outing. To date, we have raised over $210,000 for Cancer Free Kids for their fight against childhood cancer.” 

    This year the annual golf outing will be at Hickory Woods Golf Course on June 9. “We invite everyone that would like to help raise funds to participate either as a sponsor or play in the tournament to go to our website at www.Paxtonsgrill.com. Players receive amazing goody bag items, a great day of golf, food, fun, beverages, and a silent auction all while helping a great local cause, said Dunnigan.
