    Jarvis Global Investments Welcomes Katelyn Jarvis as Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Retirement Services

    Katelyn Jarvis is the new Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Retirement Services at Jarvis Global Investments.

    Loveland, Ohio – Jarvis Global Investments has announced that Katelyn Jarvis is the new Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Retirement Services. Jarvis assumes the responsibilities of managing the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing small to midsize companies’ retirement plans.

    She joins Jarvis Global Investments from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), located in Blue Ash, Ohio. The OCC is the regulatory authority of all national banks. It was there that she served as an Associate National Bank Examiner. During her tenure with the OCC she ensured the safety and soundness of national banks, by reviewing their compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Jarvis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Cincinnati. She graduated from Loveland High School in 2010.

    Loveland Robotics Team 5040 once again qualifies for the World Championship

    Loveland Robotics Team 5040 (Nuts & Bolts) has qualified for the FTC World Championship, which will be held in Detroit in April 2019.

    Loveland, Ohio – FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Teams 5040 and 10464 both competed in the West Virginia FTC State Championship on December 2 in Fairmont, WV. Team 5040 (Nuts & Bolts) was captain of the winning alliance and qualified to move on to the FTC World Championship in Detroit in April. This is the third consecutive year that the team has qualified for the world competition. 5040 also received third place for the Design Award.

    Team 10464 (The Bionic Tigers) competed in the West Virginia FTC State Championship, bringing home several awards.

    Team 10464 (The Bionic Tigers) won the Connect Award for “the team that most connects with their local science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) community.” 10464 also received second place for the Motivate Award and second place for the Think Award. (Detailed descriptions of the various awards can be found here.)

    Both teams will be competing again this month. Team 10464 will compete on December 8 in Pennsylvania and 5040 will compete in Dayton, OH, on December 15. Loveland FTC teams are supported by their many generous sponsors, including Blue Chip Consulting, P&G, Jarvis Global Investments, Loveland American Legion, GE Foundation, Johnson Controls, and the Loveland Robotics Boosters.     Loveland High School Robotics Team 5040 wins State!

    Loveland students beat the seventh-ranked team in the world to take title

    Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School (LHS) FIRST Robotics Team 5040, Nuts and Bolts, earned the title of Winning Alliance Captain at the First Tech Challenge (FTC) Ohio State Championship on February 17, at iSpace in Sharonville on the Scarlet Oaks Campus.

    Loveland Team 5040 beat the seventh-ranked team in the world in both the qualifying matches and finals. Team 5040 also won second place in Promote Award. The team will compete in North Super Regionals in Iowa against 72 other teams that have qualified through 13 states.

    “On behalf of the students, we want to give a huge thank you to our sponsors, along with our volunteer coaches and mentors – without this support we could not do what we do!” said LHS Teacher and Robotics Coordinator Amy Stewart.

    This rare Thursday night mens basketball is a make-up game. It will be played in the Loveland gym at 7:30 PM. The Tigers also play the Wolves in the regular season finale on Friday at 7:30 when they travel to West Clermont High School.

    The Loveland Tigers match up against the Wolves of West Clermont in a meaningful conference game on Thursday. For Loveland ( 5-15, 3-9 conf) this game could jump start some momentum going into the postseason. For West Clermont (13-6, 7-5 conf) this game could boost their standings as the Wolves from West Clermont are a game back of the Milford Eagles.




    For Loveland look for Junior Guard Jalen Greiser who averages 13.8 points per game on 42.0% shooting. For Loveland look for Junior Guard Matt Toigo who averages 9.7 points per game on 52.6% shooting (45.6% from 3). Also for Loveland look for Junior Forward Tripp Willis who averages 8.3 points per game on 42.7% shooting. Tripp also averages 4.4 rebounds a game (0.9 offensive) and 1.2 blocks a game.

    For West Clermont look for Senior Guard Jay Tiemeyer who averages 16.4 points per game on 46.8% shooting (41.9% from 3). Also look for Senior Forward Dallas Padgitt who averages 9.8 points per game on 52.2% shooting. Dallas also averages 5.1 rebounds a game (1.3 offensive) and is shooting 68.9% from the line.

    Overall: West Clermont by 3
