    Loveland, Ohio – It’s official! Loveland High School’s (LHS) Women’s Basketball Coach, Darnell Parker, has quite a loyal fanbase of Tigers! 

    On Monday, April 12th, Bishop’s Quarter, located in Downtown Historic Loveland, hosted “Rolling Mondays,” a fundraiser in support of Coach Darnell Parker as he battles Colin and Liver Cancer. The first Rolling Monday proved to be a success as fundraiser organizers, Jessica Early, Jodi Stanton, Loveland Magazine, and several LHS parents and local business owners, brought the community together to generate funds to help pay Coach Parker’s Cancer bills. 

    Beginning at 6 PM the community began to “Roll” into Bishop’s Quarter so that they could “Eat Out to Help Out” Coach Parker. The fun-filled night kicked off with the serving of the “Coach’s Cocktail,” which included Tito’s, muddled strawberries, lime, basil, and simple syrup. I for one can say that the cocktail was not only unbelievable but very popular with those that attended the fundraiser! 

    While Coach Parker’s fans enjoyed their cocktails they were able to enjoy spectacular live music provided by Brad Martin, and yes he did dedicate “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga to yours truly! As if the fantastic live music and refreshing cocktails weren’t enough, LHS Women’s and Men’s Basketball players competed against one another to see who could get the most entries into the Split the Pot drawing (Women’s Team) or the Gift Basket Raffle (Men’s Team)! The winning team ended up being the LHS Women’s Basketball Team but that doesn’t go without saying that the Gift Baskets were beautifully done and included a lot of superb prizes. The Split the Pot rounded out to be a whopping $500 for the very first Rolling Monday!

    Towards the end of the fundraiser, it was easy to see that Coach Darnell Parker has touched a lot of people’s lives with his vibrant personality, competitive drive, unbelievable coaching skill set, and ability to help so many athletes succeed.

    Bishop’s Quarter was filled with many pillars of the community on Monday night and they wanted to share with YOU what their experience was like at the first Rolling Monday EVER! Here are a few of those individuals’ thoughts about their “Eat Out to Help Out” night at Bishop’s Quarter!

    “Bishop’s Quarter was honored to support Darnell and his fight against cancer. It was my first time meeting Darnell and it did not take long to understand why so many people care about him and support him in his fight vs. cancer,” Co-Owner of Bishop’s Quarter, Mark Wiehe said, “He is an amazing and inspiring guy and I left our first meeting feeling like we have known each other for years. I was extremely proud as a Loveland resident and business owner to see the support shown by the school, basketball program, and community. Thank you, Cassie and Loveland Magazine for your support of Coach Darnell!!”

    “The first of the three Rolling Monday events to support Coach Parker was incredible! Bishop Quarter management, Mark and Kevin, hosted a fantastic evening,” LHS parent and one of the Rolling Monday organizers, Jessica Early said, “Loveland Magazine’s sponsorship and support were fantastic. Our Loveland community showed up with love, energy and amazing generosity. It truly was a special night in Loveland and we look forward to the next Rolling Monday event, Monday, April 19th at The Works!  I’m sure it will be wonderful.” 

    “Because I respect coach Parker and his team so much I jumped at the chance for Loveland Magazine to be the media sponsor,” Loveland Magazine Editor in Chief David Miller said, “I was so impressed with what Jodi and Jessica did! I was especially impressed with their organizing skills! I truly appreciated the wonderful hospitality Bishop’s Quarter and staff showed to all, it was a memorable night.”

    Here at Loveland Magazine, we of course had to capture the magic of the very first Rolling Monday so please enjoy the video footage and photos captured by both David Miller and myself!

    The next Rolling Monday is set to kick off at The Works Pizza located at 20 Grear Millitzer in Downtown Loveland on April 19th with activities from 6 PM-10 PM. The Works Pizza will be holding a Bartender Competition from 6 PM-10 PM in which guest appearances will be made by several Loveland community leaders! I will be guest bartending from 6 PM-6:45 PM, Jill Dressell (parent of a LHS basketball player) will be taking the 7 PM-7:45 PM time slot, Brad Early (Assistant Varsity Coach for the LHS Women’s Basketball team and a LHS parent) will be competing from 8 PM-8:45 PM, and Jodi Stanton (Parent of a former LHS Women’s Basketball player and current LHS Men’s basketball player) will be running the bar from 9 PM-9:45 PM.

    The guest bartender with the most tips (tips will be donated to Coach Parker) will win the competition! Split the Pot tickets will also be sold from 6 PM-8 PM.

    We hope to see the Loveland community and beyond at next week’s Rolling Monday at The Works Pizza! Believe me you won’t want to miss out on all the fun and the opportunity to give back to Coach Darnell Parker!

    LHS JV Men’s Basketball Coach Shares What his Athletes are Doing to Stay in Shape!

    Loveland, Ohio – Schools out, non-essential businesses are closed, parks are shut down and all sporting events are canceled, so just what are Loveland High School’s athletes doing to stay in tip-top shape in preparation for their potential sports seasons?

    We understand that there are many people out there wanting some insight on how to stay in shape during this time so we asked the LHS coaches and athletes to share with us and the community of Loveland what workouts they are doing and where they are doing them at. According to the LHS coaching staff, the COVID-19 outbreak has forced them to get very creative with workouts and the locations of the workouts. Many of the coaches have said that their athletes have not only been doing the workouts that they have been giving them but the athletes themselves have also been creating some of their own workouts!

    The first LHS coach to share with us his experience with his athletes and their workouts is JV Men’s Basketball Coach, Griffin Williams! Williams provided us with a statement describing how dedicated his athletes have been doing this tough time.

    “Our varsity coach Rob Reis is doing a very nice job in trying to keep everyone engaged, as well as having the kids put some pressure on one another to make sure they are continuing to work and continuing to progress,” Williams said, “For me, it’s been fun to follow along to see who is checking in and who is posting their stuff for us to share. If you visit our program’s Twitter account https://twitter.com/Loveland_MensBB you will be able to see some content on how our players and the youth are working on their games,” Williams added.

    LHS’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach Reaches 100 Wins!

    Loveland, Ohio – As you walk the halls of Loveland High school it is not hard to feel the sense of community the students, teachers, and coaches have created! That sense of community doesn’t just linger in the hallways it’s also very present in both LHS’s academics and athletic programs. One athletic program, in particular, took that sense of community LHS created and implemented it into everything he and his team does. Darnell Parker, LHS’s head women’s basketball coach, wanted to keep that community mentality when he took over the team, but at the same time, he wanted that same mentality to set the women’s basketball program apart from all of the other athletic programs. That’s when #Ourway was created. This unique mindset has not only proven its success with the Loveland Women’s Basketball team’s win-loss record but has also created a lot of hype with all of the Loveland Tigers!

    “OurWay started out as more of a tag line slash cool hashtag, but over time it became a way of life for our program! It started back in year 1 with Jenna Stanton and Madi McDermott,” Parker explained, “We had a lot of strong seniors that year, but those two really grabbed ahold of this team in the offseason and set the tone for how we were going to go about our business day in and day out! Like our community, we didn’t want to be like the Mason’s or the Lakota’s we wanted to be great the Loveland way, and that is where OurWay came from.“

    The Loveland Women’s Basketball program celebrated a huge moment in history last Saturday winning their first ECC championship. The Lady Tigers finished the ECC regular season with a 13-1 record and a 19-3 record overall. And if winning an ECC title wasn’t enough for the Tigers, Coach Darnell Parker also celebrated quite the milestone this year reaching 100 wins.

    This highlight reel was put together by Team Photographer Gayle Rothmeeler to celebrate Coach Parker’s 100th win.

    “To be able to accomplish both of these milestones in the same season was unbelievable!,” Parker said, “But winning the league by far takes the cake! This is something that has never been done by Loveland in the ECC, and 17 years since the last league title of any kind in Women’s Basketball. Being able to see the absolute joy on our kids’ faces and from everyone in the crowd is what this is all about!“

    Coach Parker, who from a very young age knew basketball was his passion, began coaching summer basketball camps when he was a senior varsity point guard at Findlay High School. Parker earned both all-league and all-district accolades as a point guard at Findlay High School. After Parker graduated high school he continued his stellar basketball career at Bluffton University where he played all 4 years. At Bluffton Parker was given the team captain role and was awarded best defensive player his senior year. Parker graduated from Bluffton with a degree in Business Management and immediately decided to get back into the game he just couldn’t get enough of.

    Parker’s basketball coaching career started at Glen Este where he was selected to coach 6th-grade boys. For 9 years Parker successfully coached at Glen Este until Finneytown High School approached him with an opportunity to coach the Men’s JV team. While gaining experience in the men’s high school basketball circuit Parker again got an opportunity to coach but this time as the varsity head men’s basketball coach at Clermont Northeastern High School. Next on Parker’s superb coaching journey was at Clark Montessori High School where he took the position as the varsity men’s head basketball coach. At Clark Montessori, Parker made a name for himself and his team! In 2015 he not only won the Miami Valley Conference-Scarlet Championship he also was named Coach of the Year! While Parker coached at Clark Montessori he also coached AAU Basketball at Ohio Crossover Athletics gaining even more knowledge about the game of basketball.

    Parker coached for 3 years at Clark Montessori before making the transition to Loveland High School as an assistant varsity women’s basketball coach. After almost immediately making a huge impact on the Loveland Women’s Basketball program Parker was asked to take the varsity head coach position in 2017.

    Once Parker accepted the position he began working towards achieving the goals that he set for himself as a coach and the goals that the Loveland Women’s Basketball program had set as well. After 3 years of working towards some serious goals, this year Parker and his Lady Tigers not only grabbed their first ECC title ever in school history Parker himself also reached 100 wins and was named District 16 Coach of the Year! Parker said he couldn’t be more pleased with his team’s outstanding efforts this year and appreciates everyone that helped him get to this point in his coaching career.

    “There have been so many people that have contributed to me getting to this point, but first and foremost I have to thank God because, without him, none of this is possible,” Parker explained, “My Mom and my Dad to this day are my biggest cheerleaders and have been great! My two girls Alexis and Madison have sacrificed a lot of Dad time so that I could pursue my passion and I love them unconditionally for that! And to the Loveland community, thank you for accepting me as one of your own! This community has wrapped their arms around me and this program, THANK YOU! Lastly thank you to the coaching staff, Samantha, Keith, Wray Jean, Brad, and Mike. This is a team effort and these guys put up with me every single day and we wouldn’t be where we are without them,” Parker added.

    Coach Parker and his Lady Tigers have already taken the postseason tournament by storm grabbing their first win against Talawanda on February 13th with a score of 62-24. As if there wasn’t enough Loveland Women’s Basketball Tiger hype, Senior Jillian Hayes broke the All-Time Leading Scorer record, putting up 19 points for the Tiger win. Jilian Partin previously held the record with 1,356 points in 2005. Senior Kate Garry also holds an impressive record for the Tigers with the Most made 3 point shots in school history. This record was also previously held by Jilian Partin in 2005 with 65 made 3 point shots. Garry also holds the spot for the most 3 point shots made this year in the ECC.

    All You Need To Know About The 2019 LHS Homecoming Festivities

    The parade will begin at 6:30 PM at the Moose Lodge Hall on East Loveland Avenue

    Loveland, Ohio – The anticipation has begun for Loveland High School’s Homecoming activities and Loveland Magazine has the 411 on what to expect this year! 

    The 2019 Tiger Homecoming events will begin Thursday, September 26th with one of Loveland’s most coveted traditions, the Loveland Athletic Booster’s Homecoming Parade. The parade will begin promptly at 6:30 PM at the Moose Lodge Hall on East Loveland Avenue. The parade will then proceed to West Loveland Avenue, to Rich Road, and then end the night at #1 Tiger Way at Loveland High School.

    RP Diamond will be selling Tiger Spirit Wear at Loveland Magazine during the Parade. Loveland Magazine is located right on the parade route in the heart of the West Loveland Historic District at 514 West Loveland Avenue and is one of the most favorite spots to view the parade because of ample parking in the District.

    Immediately after the parade, the Loveland students will take part in the annual Powder Puff Football game at Tiger Stadium.

    Grand Marshall is Tony Ricci

    Every year Loveland High School selects a Grand Marshall to lead the annual Homecoming parade. As always, the individuals selected to be the Grand Marshall has been someone who truly takes an interest in the success of the Loveland High School students and is a positive force in the Loveland community. This year Tony Ricci was selected to lead the 2019 parade. For the last 25 years, Ricci has owned and operated Tony’s of Cincinnati, an American Seafood and Steakhouse located at 12110 Montgomery Road. Ricci’s incredible hospitality and back to his roots cuisine has allowed him to become a Cincinnati Food Icon. Although Tony’s of Cincinnati has been a huge part of Ricci’s life over the past several years, he has always found the time to take an interest in Loveland High School and its students.

    Brian Conatser, Loveland High School’s Athletic Director, couldn’t express enough how generous Ricci and his family have been to Loveland over the past several years.

They have provided things such as senior dinners for each sport season for every senior athlete that plays a sport, a team dinner for any varsity team that wins a Team ECC championship, meals for any team that makes a deep dive in playoffs, pregame meals, donations for kids that need financial support for athletic gear or pay-to-play fees, donations to the Loveland Athletic Boosters every year at all major fundraisers, employment opportunities for students, sponsorship for Showchoir, Robotics, and Athletics, and support for Loveland co-curricular and extra-curricular sports and activities,” Conatser said. “Our student experience has been enhanced by the touch of the Ricci Family. Thank you very much, Tony Ricci, for your ongoing commitment to our programs and the Loveland Community,” Conatser added.

    Conatser was not the only person to express his gratitude for Tony Ricci and his family’s support. President of the School Board, Art Jarvis, owner of Jarvis Global Investments located near Loveland’s Downtown Historic District, also had a lot to say about Ricci and his family. When Loveland Magazine asked Jarvis what he thought about Ricci being the Grand Marshall he said, “I think it’s an excellent choice! He has done so much for the community in the last 8 or 9 years. He’s been there every step of the way with Loveland students and athletes! He’s been amazing with supplying our athletes with meals. All seniors get a dinner no matter what sport and if a sports team wins the ECC they get another dinner from Tony! I can’t even tell you how much Tony has spent on food for Loveland’s students. He’s also a huge donor for the Loveland High School Show Choir. Anything that we have gone to him for about the students in Loveland he has donated, no questions asked!”

    Jarvis also noted that Ricci spends a lot of his time in the community and added that “Tony is a dear friend of mine and is always willing to listen – no matter the topic. Tony’s steaks are the best steaks I’ve ever had! This guy knows how to make a steak and I love eating at his restaurant. Tony is just a great guy with a great family.”

    Jeff Williams, President of the Loveland Athletic Boosters was also eager to praise Tony Ricci. He said, “I just think that as a community we’re lucky and blessed to have someone like him. It’s not only the money he gives, but he gives a great deal of his time. I think he makes Loveland what it is today.” 

    The Homecoming festivities will continue on Friday, September 27th with a Homecoming Pep Rally at 1:30 PM at Loveland High School and the Homecoming Football Game at the Tigers Stadium at 7 PM where they will face the Milford Eagles.

At halftime, the Homecoming Queen and King will be announced and the Marching Band and Color Guard will perform throughout the evening.

    The homecoming game will have lots of spirited Loveland High School Students as well as friends and family members so be sure to stop by and support TIGER NATION! Who knows if you stop by you may just catch some Rozzi Fireworks and Grand Marshall Toni Ricci’s helicopter arrival to deliver the game ball!

    On Saturday, September 28th Loveland High School will host the 2019 Homecoming Dance beginning at 8 PM and ending at 11 PM.

    Loveland, Ohio – Loveland Tiger fans gather around as August 1st marked the first official day of Loveland High School Fall sports! With scrimmages, practices and pre-season tournaments in full swing, the Tigers have been really working hard to get prepared for the first competition of the 2019-2020 season and Loveland Magazine plans on being there every step of the way! Each week we will be releasing a summary informing our readers about what has been going in the world of Loveland High School sports. There is nothing more important than the future of our community and our children so by releasing the Loveland Sports 411 each week we believe this will get the community and the children the recognition they deserve! 

    Last Thursday Loveland High School welcomed Tiger fans to the 2019-2020 Meet the Team Night. The scene was set in the Loveland High School gym where the marching band kicked off the night with a performance followed by the Tiger Cheerleaders putting on quite the show! The following teams and coaches were introduced on Thursday night to their friends, families and die-hard Tiger fans, Girls Volleyball coached by Brain Baugh, Girls Soccer coached by Todd Kelly, Boys Soccer coached by Mike Dunlap, Girls Tennis coached by Dara Hudson, Girls Golf coached by Barb Orsinelli, Boys Golf coached by David Allan, Cheer Team coached by Emily Christman, Boys and Girls Cross Country coached by Steve Nester and Football coached by Andy Cruse.

    This week several Loveland High School teams participated in competitions where many of the Tiger athletes already started making a name for themselves!

    The Girls Volleyball team competed in a scrimmage against former state champions, Ursuline, on Friday night. The Tigers made a strong showing on Friday that got many fans on twitter excited for the season! 

    The Girls Volleyball Teams have a couple of games this week, one that will take place on August 13th at 9:30 PM against Lakota East at LHS and another that will take place on August 17th at Fairfield High school at Noon.

    The Boys and Girls Soccer Team participated in some hard-fought scrimmage battles this week in preparation for their first games of the season. The Girls Soccer Team faced Lakota East on Wednesday at LHS while the Boys Soccer Team faced Indian Hill on Tuesday at Indian Hill High School and Elder on Thursday at Elder High School. The Girls Soccer Team will be back in action this week for a scrimmage at LHS against Seton on Monday at 7 PM and then again on Tuesday at Seton High School at 7 PM. The Boys Soccer Team will be kicking there way to Carrol High School for a scrimmage Tuesday at 7 PM.

    The Girls Tennis team has been working hard in practice preparing for their first matches, which will be on Monday, August 12th at Beavercreek at 4 PM and Wednesday, August 14th at Wyoming at 4 PM.

    The Girls and Boys Golf Teams had several successful swings at the ECC Preseason Tournament this week. The ECC Preseason Tournament for the Boys Golf Team was held on August 7th at Glenview Golf Course, where the Tigers finished at the top making them the official ECC Preseason Tournament Champions. The Tigers won with 302 strokes nearly eight strokes ahead of Anderson. Loveland’s very own Tyler Vallee was the top medalist with 70 strokes for the Tigers. The ECC Preview for the Girls Golf Team was held on August 8th at Walden Ponds Golf Course. The Tigers rallied together and finished 5th with 392 strokes. Allison Rountree was the top lady Tiger finisher, placing 9th overall with 83 strokes.

    The Girls Golf Team will be back in action at Turpin on the Terrace Park CC on August 12th at 3 PM and then again on August 13th against Anderson at Reeves at 3:25 PM. The Boys Golf Team will compete on August 15th at Hickory Woods Golf Course against Anderson at 4 PM.

    Although the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams haven’t competed in any ECC meets yet, as they will first compete at Moeller on August 23rd for the Primetime Invitational, both teams got a little preseason competition on Saturday at the 37th Annual Newtown 5k Run.     The Loveland Tigers Football Team has been putting in a lot of preseason hard work with their new head coach, Andy Cruse! The Tigers put their preseason hard work to use this week as they participated in a scrimmage Friday at home against New Richmond in preparation for their first official game, which takes place on August 30th at Sycamore at 7 PM. The team will travel to scrimmage Fairmont High school Friday, August 16th at 7 PM and then Loveland High School will host a jamboree against Northwest High School Friday, August 23rd at 7 PM for their last pre-season game.

    Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland Tigers have developed quite the reputation in the world of athletics this year, grabbing once again several post-season honors. Now Junior, Hanna Wenger, one of Loveland’s top Women’s Lacrosse players, received The OSLA Division 1 First Team All-State Honors and 2019 Loveland High School grad Zach Segal, a member of the Tigers Baseball Team, received Honorable Mention, SWOBCA All-City Honors.         Segal ended his senior season as a Loveland Tiger with a bang placing very high in the ECC with his individual statistics. Segal pitched 9 games with a 3 and 5 win-loss record, a 46.1 IP, which earned him 3rd place in the ECC, and a 1.5 ERA. Segal earned 3rd place in the ECC for strikeouts as well totaling out with 58 for the season. Segal also received First Team All ECC Honors. Other Tigers who grabbed awards were Carson Deer, who earned Second Team All ECC and Matt Westley, who received Honorable Mention Honors.

        Wenger had an incredible sophomore season as a Loveland Women’s Lacrosse player as the Tigers came in second in the ECC with a 4-1 record in ECC matches and a 13-3 record overall. On top of Wenger’s First Team All-State Honors, she grabbed ECC Player of the Year and OSLA Division I First Team All-Region Honors along with her teammate Carly Wilhoite. Wenger’s teammates Josey Storm earned All-Region Second Team Honors and Maggie Nance received All-Region Honorable Mention.

        “Hanna is a phenomenal athlete and has a tremendous passion for the game. The number one thing that everyone always notices about Hanna is that she always has a smile on her face while playing lacrosse. This isn’t an I am goofing off smile, or I am just out here to have fun and not try hard smile. This is the most genuine I love this sport smile,” Loveland head coach Ryan Hanson told Loveland Magazine.

        Wenger was ranked among the top Women’s Lacrosse athletes in the ECC with her offensive statistics. Wenger totaled 44 goals and 26 assists for the season averaging 3.67 goals per game and 2.17 assists per game. Wenger ranked 3rd in the ECC in assists.

        Head coach Hanson also said that Hanna Wenger is the ultimate competitor and whenever given the option at practice she wants to continue playing. He said that the coaching staff jokes that although the practice is “only” 2 hours a night, they don’t think Hanna would complain if they practiced four hours each night. He added that her love for the sport and desire to always want to improve herself shows every moment she steps on the field. “She isn’t just talented in one facet, Hanna is one of the most complete lacrosse players we have ever coached. She doesn’t work to be good in just one area, she wants to master every skill. When you have natural talent, a drive to be the best, and a passion for the game, you get Hanna Wenger.” He said it was no surprise that she was named ECC Women’s Lacrosse MVP, 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-District, and 1st Team All-State both her Freshman and Sophomore years.

        Last December, Zach Segal, signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of Cincinnati.

    Columbus, Ohio – The Loveland High School Women’s Track and Field team sent 3 athletes to represent the Tigers at the OHSAA State Track and Field Tournament in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend. Miya Brines, Jordan Morrison, and Kaitlyn Andrews raced their way into the state tournament after placing 5th at the Regional Tournament in the 100-meter hurdles, the 300-meter hurdles, and the 200-meter dash.

    The school held a state tournament send off for Brines, Morrison, and Andrews Friday afternoon. Students, staff and family members showed their love and support for the Lady Tigers in a confetti-covered Loveland High School Fitness Center. Students held up whole made signs and “made some noise” as the 3 track stars enjoyed cookies and words of encouragement from peers, teachers, and coaches.     The three Tigers made their way to the Jesse Owens Stadium at The Ohio State University and competed in their preliminary races on Friday evening.

    Miya Brines, the Tiger’s 100-meter hurdler, ran an outstanding race and not only shattered the school record with a time of 14.72 seconds but also qualified for finals with a 6th place finish. Brines qualifying finish was also her personal best time for the season in the 100-meter hurdles. The previous record for the 100-meter hurdles was held by Gabby Dierling in 2016 with a time of 14.90 seconds.

    Kaitlyn Andrews, who ran a personal best time of 25.06 seconds to qualify to compete in the 200-meter dash, was not able to participate due to an injury she sustained right before the meet.

    Jordan Morrison, who qualified for the 300-meter hurdle state prelims with a personal best time of 45.37, finished her season strong at the state meet running a 46.78. Check out the tweet from one of the many Loveland track supporters that were at the state meet Friday.

    On Saturday Brines made her way down to the track to compete in the finals of the 100-meter hurdles. Brines finished the race with a 14.70, beating her school record and her personal best time.     Loveland, OH – Loveland varsity fall sports are now in full swing, with Loveland leading the Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) in women’s volleyball, women’s soccer and men’s golf. 

    Football

    Loveland trails in varsity football, tied for last with Turpin in the ECC. Loveland fell to Lebanon 14-21 at their charity game on Friday, September 1st.

    Senior Saeah Harter was named ECC women’s soccer player of the week:

    “Sarah, senior midfielder, had an outstanding week on the field in Loveland’s 4-0 victory over ECC member Kings and their 4-0 victory over NKY’s number-four ranked Ryle Raiders. Sarah did an outstanding job in the midfield of winning balls, especially in the air, and with her distribution to start Loveland’s attack. She also recorded her first goal of the season in the win over Ryle.”

    Cross Country

    For men’s cross country, senior Greg Ballman holds third with a time of 16:27.70. The women’s team won at Norwood, and sophomore Lexi Duff was named ECC women’s crosscountry runner of the week:

    “Lexi helped the Lady Tigers get out at the start and pack together to bring home a victory at Norwood this past weekend. Lexi scored third on the team and was ninth overall. Without her start and pacing in the first mile, the squad may have lost its positioning to win.”

    Freshman Ajay Stutz was also named an ECC athlete of the week: 

    “Ajay finished third overall and second for the team at the Norwood Invitational. His time of 17:32 on a hilly, muddy course helped lead the Tigers to a first place finish.”

    On Saturday the 19th, the runners will compete at Mason.

    Men’s golf

    Varsity Men’s golf holds first in the ECC for Loveland with a 3-1 conference win/loss and 4-1 overall.
