    Loveland, Ohio – Our Loveland Tigers are both talented on and off the field/court!

    Introducing to you the ECC (Eastern Cincinnati Conference) 2020-2021 Loveland Tiger Academic Team Award Winners! In order to earn this achievement, the athlete must be on the varsity squad and earn a 3.5 g.p.a or higher. The following Tigers managed to meet the above requirements.

  • Loveland High School’s 2019 Fall Athletes’ and Coaches Receive Multiple ECC Awards

    Loveland, OhioIt’s no secret to the Loveland community that Loveland High School is home to some of Ohio’s top athletes! The Loveland Tigers had quite the 2019 Fall sports season in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference collecting 5 conference titles, 4 Coach of the Year titles, 2 Athlete of the Year titles and several All-Conference First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention accolades.

    With all of the victories and accolades, Loveland High School Athletics has put on the board for the 2019 Season thus far puts the Tigers at the number 1 spot with 62 points for the ECC All-Sports Trophy, which is one of the highest honors the ECC bestows. With the 2019 Fall sports season coming to an end there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that winning the ECC All-Sports Trophy may, in fact, be in Loveland High School’s near future! 

    The Eastern Cincinnati Conference released the teams, athletes, and coaches that were awarded All ECC honors on their website for the 2019 Fall sports season. Below Loveland Magazine collected the results for each Loveland High School Fall sports team that received ECC honors. At this time Football ECC awards have not been posted.

    Loveland Magazine and the community of Loveland want to take a moment to congratulate the teams, athletes and coaches that were awarded these incredible accolades and wish them the best on their future athletic endeavors! GO TIGERS!

    Loveland Girls Cross Country Wins the ECC and Continues Success in Post-Season!

    Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School Fall sports have been running away with ECC titles left and right, but one team in particular actually did “run away” with the ECC title! The Loveland High school Women’s Cross Country is marking one of their best seasons in history not only winning the 2019 ECC title but also continuing well into the post-season where the Lady Tigers will compete for a bid to the State Tournament on Saturday at Troy High School.

    2019 Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year Steve Nester has also managed to lead the Men’s Cross Country Team to regionals on Saturday. With all of the great athletes running around the halls of Loveland High School Loveland Magazine had to, of course, take another trip out to the land of the Tigers to chase down and chat with the Women’s Cross Country Team about their season of personal bests!     Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland Tiger athletes continue to represent Loveland High School with flying colors earning yet again another 2019 ECC title – this time the Boys Soccer Team! Coach Mike Dunlap and his team of dedicated soccer players went undefeated in the ECC with a 7-0 record, competed in the sectional finals and grabbed some top coach, team, and individual ECC accolades.

    Loveland Magazine decided to pay another visit this week to the home of the Loveland Tigers, Loveland High School, to talk with Coach Dunlap and the Boys Soccer Team about just what went into being able to compete at such a high level and how the team achieved such great chemistry.     Jillian Hayes in the 3-0 defeat over Walnut Hills on September 4th

    Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland Womens Soccer team has gotten off to a great start with a 5-0 (2-0)record. This past Saturday they traveled to Ryle, and won 4-0. Leading the way for the Tigers is Senior Brooke Harden with 4 assists and 2 goals in 4 games. Harden just surpassed the most assists in school history (at 47)  and will be looking to extend that record which was 45. Also for the Tigers, Senior Lauren Williams has started off strong scoring 2 goals in the first four games. Williams also has 2 assists through the first four games. The Tigers traveled to and defeated Kings 3-0 on Tuesday September 4. Their next match is Saturday at home against Sycamore. The game is at 5 PM.

    Loveland Womens Soccer now #2 in the Country in USA Today…

    The Loveland Mens Soccer team currently sits at 3-2 (0-1 conference). Last Thursday the Tigers took on Anderson at their home. The game went back and forth but at the end it was Anderson on top with a score of 6-5. Loveland’s Aiden Kopek and Helga Harris scored twice and Keith Broermann scored once. On Saturday the team visited La Salle and won 2-1. Leading the way for the Tigers this season has been Senior Keith Broermann who has scored 3 goals in 3 matches. Their next game is Thursday (9/6) at home vs Kings at 7 PM.

    The Loveland Womens Volleyball team currently sits at 7-0 (3-0 conference) to start the season. Leading the way for the Tigers is Senior Ashley McDonald who has 66 kills, 57 diggs, and 5 blocks on the season. Also leading the way for Loveland is Senior Marie Plitt who has 53 kills, 60 diggs, and 12 blocks on the season.

    The Tigers continued their undefeated season with a 3-0 win at home over Walnut Hills on Tuesday. They compete again at 7 PM Thursday at Turpin.
