    After many weeks of competition, Nala is currently in 10th place in the U.S.A in America’s Favorite Pet contest

    Loveland, Ohio – A beloved resident of Historic Downtown Loveland, Nala is always making new human forever friends on the Loveland Bike Trail. Nala is the fur baby of Loveland Magazine President and Publisher Cassie Mattia, and her boyfriend Adam Ploof.

    After many weeks of competition, Nala is currently in 10th place in the U.S.A in the America’s Favorite Pet contest. She needs to be one of the top 5 pets before February 6 at 7 PM to remain in the contest. If she wins she will win the top prize of $10K and be featured on the cover of Modern Dog magazine! If she wins the national competition, Nala’s story will be shared in a special 2-page feature that showcases her unique personality and charm.

    Bear with me here… I know all of you pet owners believe your fur baby deserves to be on the cover, but Nala now has a real chance – and how cool would it be to brag that one of Loveland’s favorite pets is also America’s Favorite Pet?

    America’s Favorite Pet is excited to partner with PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) to aid in its mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats. Since 1967, PAWS has unified more than 130,000 cats and dogs with loving families, nurtured more than 140,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, and made the world a better place for countless critters.

    I’ve dozed off on Nala’s living room couch and woke with this adorable and loving fur baby cuddling closely and warmly by my side and found out she’s been there for an hour – both of us in a deep, deep sleep. Nala would represent Loveland in a remarkable way.

    September Pets of the Month Visit Nothing Bundt Cakes Mason!

    Loveland, Ohio – What a beautiful moment it was when September Pet of the Month winner, Haley Hansberry, the proud owner of two longhaired miniature dachshunds, Phoebe and Poppy, visited Nothing Bundt Cakes Mason to pick up one of her prizes from Owner Mary Thress!

    Mary Thress of Nothing Bundt Cakes kindly donated a Bundtlet Tower to the winner of this month’s competition and for Loveland Magazine’s future Pet of the Month stars.

    When Haley went to pick up her cake she decided to bring Phoebe and Poppy along and lucky for us David Miller was able to capture it all! “It was a joy and pandemonium when Phoebe and Poppy visited the store. I was so happy to have been there to capture it,” Miller said.

    We would like to give a huge Thank You to Scott Gordon from The Works Pizza and Mary Thress for donating a Bundlet Tower and a Works Pizza Gift Card to our Pet of the Month winner!

    Who doesn’t love sharing a beautiful photo of their pet? If you are a Loveland resident and live close to the Loveland Bike Trail you know more than anyone that Loveland has a special place in its heart for pets. From dogs to cats to horses to exotic animals the Loveland community welcomes all animals with open arms! This is why here at Loveland Magazine we want to celebrate your pets.

    At the beginning of every month, we will be selecting and featuring “Loveland’s Pet of the Month,” in which that pet will then be featured in our publication, weekly newsletters, and our social media platforms for that entire month.

    The featured pet will receive a beautiful, glossy, high-quality 8X10 photo keepsake in addition to the Bundlet Tower. We love our pets as much you do Loveland so let’s pay tribute to them together every month!

    This is Dean, Cassie’s older household sibling to Nala.

    To enter into October’s Loveland Pet of the Month contest you must email me, Cassie Mattia, at cmattia12@gmail.com 2-5 of your favorite photos of your pet along with a short bio about your pet. Share with us and the community why your pet is so special to you along with any other unique facts that set your little buddy apart from other pets! The window for receiving pet of the month candidates will run from the 1st to the 25th (deadline) of every month. When sending in your pet photos and bios please include your pet’s name, age, and breed as well as your contact info with a short description of each photo you provide us with. If you want to share where your pet’s favorite spots are in Loveland that would be great as well!

    Remember we DO NOT discriminate against any pets; all pets are welcome to enter into the contest!

    As a reminder, you may start sending in pet photos and bios beginning on the 1st of every month. The deadline once again will be on the 25th of every month.

    We are so excited to share the love you have for your pets and the joy they bring you every day with the community!

    Loveland, Ohio- Who doesn’t like cake?! The launch of Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month has caught the attention of many local businesses one being Nothing Bundt Cakes!

    Nothing Bundt Cakes, located at 9540 Mason Montgomery Road, creates delicious readily available cakes using only the highest quality ingredients for anyone in search of a great-tasting cake that is also aesthetically pleasing. Nothing Bundt Cakes is known for its signature cream cheese frosting as well as its one-of-a-kind handcrafted cake designs. Any cake requested can be customized for any theme or occasion!

    Mason’s Nothing Bundt Cake Co-owner, Mary Thress, is well-known for giving back to the communities surrounding her location, including Loveland, so when she emailed Loveland Magazine offering our Pet of the Month winner a Bundtlet Tower we were beyond happy and filled with gratitude.

    “Would you like to give the winner of pet of the month a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes?” Thress wrote in the email. “I’d be happy to provide a Bundtlet Tower with decoration relating to Loveland and pets!”

    A Bundtlet Tower is comprised of 1-3 miniature Bundtlet Cakes (flavors can be vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet) covered in the signature cream cheese frosting (made with velvety cream cheese and real butter). Thress is providing the Pet of the Month winner a 2 tier Bundtlet Tower, one cake-flavored chocolate, and the other vanilla, covered in the signature cream cheese frosting.

    We want to thank Mary and her entire team for being so kind to Loveland Magazine and our pet lovers! We are thrilled to award the Pet of the Month such an unbelievable delicious treat!

    Thress is providing the Pet of the Month winner a 2 tier Bundtlet Tower, one cake-flavored chocolate, and the other vanilla, covered in the signature cream cheese frosting.
