    Fall enrichment classes begin soon at Great Oaks

    As your kids get ready to go back to school, this is your opportunity to learn, too. Find new and better ways to use your computer. Repair your car or give it a new look. Start writing or drawing, or learn to play the guitar or discover new cooking techniques.

    Seven-week classes at Great Oaks campuses offer the chance to develop skills for work or fun.

    Short-term classes for adults at Scarlet Oaks Career Campus begin soon. Most classes are held on weekday evenings. Registration ends on August 13.

    Searching for nature? Virtual Class: Explore 101- Spring Flowers of Cincinnati

    Loveland, Ohio – Tired of winter? Try out the Library’s online classes for flower arranging and making your own natural care products.

    Spending time outside has become essential this past year, and a lot of us have explored parks, hiking trails, and other natural escapes. Maybe you’ve noticed new plants on your adventures. Southwestern Ohio bursts with blooms in the spring, and getting to know some of them can enrich your next nature walk – whether you’re alone, with friends, or even sharing the joy of exploration with a child. This class will cover some common wildflowers and cultivated blossoms you might see around Cincinnati, as well as providing resources and tips to identify anything we don’t cover.  

    Class will repeat; Join just once or return multiple times for some updates on new blooms! 

    Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to class time.
