    Stepping Stones to Put on 24th Annual Golf Classic at O’Bannon Creek Golf Club

    Stepping Stones will host their 2025 Golf Classic on Monday, June 2 at the O’Bannon Creek Golf Club. Stepping Stones and event chair John Borchers, Jr. invite you to “enjoy a beautiful day of golf, benefiting year-round programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities.” The day will feature exciting hole challenges, premier raffle prizes and more!

    The Golf Classic benefits Stepping Stones’ mission to build pathways to independence and promote inclusion for people with developmental and physical disabilities. You can show your support by starting a team or becoming a sponsor. At the end of the day, golfers can relax with food and drinks as awards are handed out for the day’s winning teams and top golfers.

    “We are so excited to celebrate the 24th year of this event. It will be a great day of golf and we hope that you’ll join us in support of Stepping Stones’ year-round programs for individuals with disabilities,” said event chair, John Borchers, Jr.

    Event tickets are $300 for a single and $1,200 for a foursome.

    The O’Bannon Creek Golf Club is located at 6842 Oakland Road in Loveland, Ohio.

    Stepping Stones to Host 19th Annual Viva La Bloom Fundraiser

    Milford, Ohio – Stepping Stones will host the 2023 Viva La Bloom fundraiser with a new theme and location on Saturday, September 9th at the Little Miami Event Center in Milford. Event chair Nancy Aichholz invites you to a fun, “Vegas” themed night full of games, entertainment, a fabulous silent auction, and dinner by Cincinnati’s best food trucks. Try your luck at one of our casino-style games throughout the night for a chance to win the Grand Prize.

    Nancy Aichholz will host the 19th Annual Bloom for Stepping Stones.

    Bloom benefits Stepping Stones’ mission to build pathways to independence and promote inclusion for people with developmental and physical disabilities. Show your support for the community by buying tickets or becoming a sponsor.

  • Loveland High School’s senior class spends a day serving local nonprofits

    Loveland High School’s senior class spends a day serving local nonprofits

    This group of Loveland High School seniors spent Senior Service Day at Valley View, a nonprofit organization in Milford with a mission of conserving land, preserving history and sharing it with the community.

    Loveland, Ohio – The entire senior class at Loveland High School (LHS) spent Wednesday, October 16 volunteering at nonprofits throughout the area. Beginning the day assembled at New Hope Baptist Church, the students learned from presenters about the value and impact of community service and then spent the afternoon assisting at a range of

    local organizations and agencies, including: Bethany House, Cincinnati Parks, Freestore Foodbank, Grailville, Granny’s Garden, Greenacres, Hands Against Hunger, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Nest, New Life Furniture, Play Library, Stepping Stones, St. Francis Seraph School, St. Vincent De Paul, and Valley View. The students also assisted in various projects at school campuses across the district.

    Throughout the day, students shared their efforts and experiences on social media, using the Twitter hashtag #makeyourmark.

    “Our eighth annual Senior Service Day was a great success,” said LHS Principal Peggy Johnson. “I appreciate all the hard work that went into the planning and organization of the event, which involved nearly 400 students, educators and additional volunteers.”
