    Symmes, Township, Ohio – The Township will host the Symmes Eco Celebration on Saturday, April 12th at Symmes Park from 9 AM until Noon. This free event will celebrate Earth Day with exhibits, demos and fun activities. Also, explore nature with a walk and scavenger hunt.

    In addition, the Township will hold a fishing derby for children age 5 through 12. Trophies will be awarded for the first caught and biggest fish. This activity requires registration by April 4th. Symmes residents will be given priority.

    Geno Hicks scoops up as winner of Symmes Township Name the Snow Plow contest

    Symmes Township, Ohio – And there it is, 7-year-old Geno Hicks submitted the winning name in the Township’s “Name the Snow Plow Contest”.

    He entered the name “Scoop, There It Is” and the Road crew selected it as the winner. Geno will help unveil the new truck as soon as it is ready.

    The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance Annual Awards Dinner is an evening for all area businesses to come together and celebrate their successes and community contributions.

    Each November, The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance says “Thank you” to our businesses for all they do for our community and honor them for enhancing our community and making it a better place to live.

    The Annual Awards Dinner is an evening for all area businesses to come together and celebrate their successes and community contributions.

    In Deerfield Township, Ohio recycle your Christmas Tree at 3 park locations

    Deerfield, Township, Ohio – Deerfield Township will have 3 Christmas Tree Drop Off locations setup in the Township. These locations will be at Cottell, Fleckenstein, and Landen-Deerfield Parks.

    Deerfield Township Parks are open daily from dawn until dusk. Areas will be sectioned off and posted with signs for township residents to drop off their Christmas trees. Christmas trees will be accepted for recycling during park hours from January 3rd, 2023 through January 20, 2023.

    Deerfield/Symmes Township, Ohio – The intersection of Fields-Ertel Road and Columbia/Lebanon Road was re-opened today. The closure was for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection.
