Thursday evening self-inflicted gunshot wound on West Loveland Ave. was fatal
Loveland, Ohio – Thursday evening at 5:38 PM, police had already dispatched to a man’s apartment to “check on well being” after ex-wife called to report a voice-mail message saying goodby to family, giving bank account information, and saying he was going to check out.
Police heard a gun shot outside. A female motorist from Goshen traveling east-bound on West Loveland Avenue spotted a 60 year-old, male Loveland resident, slumped to the ground at the park bench near the roadway at Anniversary Park. Presuming he was passed out or sick, called the police, who discovered a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Property recovered was one (1) Dan Wesson Arms 357 Magnum revolver, five (5) Midway .375 bullets, one (1) Midway .375 casing, and one (1) audio recording with “Message saying goodbye to family”.
