Specially trained pottery instructors

Whistle Stop Clay Works in Loveland is pleased to announce two exciting weeks of camps for children ages seven and up.  The first camp, Ahoy Matey, runs the week of June 22 and  will facilitate self expression through the theme of time traveling in a variety of projects.  The second camp, Clay and the Natural World, runs the week of August 3 and focuses on clay projects designed to inspire creativity and outdoor play.  In the event that both summer camps reach capacity, a third camp will be offered during July to accommodate as many students as possible.

The camps are lead by specially trained pottery instructors and are designed to inspire curiosity and to expose children to new experiences through a wealth of hands on experiences.  Campers will acquire a solid foundation in pottery fundamentals, while creating functional and sculptural objects.  Camps are a great way to stimulate a child’s mind, keep children active, and create new bonds of friendship.  Camps are open to the public and sessions include a healthy snack.
More information and applications can be found at: http://www.whistlestopclayworks.com/pages/calendar.html or by calling camp admissions at (513) 683-2529.
