If the snow starts falling early in November, blame it on the Loveland Stage Company as they proudly present the holiday favorite White Christmas. The production will run the first 3 weekends of November with evening shows at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 3:00. More specifics and ticket information is available at the theater’s website – www.lovelandstagecompany.org.
The Irving Berlin musical is based on the 1954 film. As Phil Davis (played by Nick Godfrey) and Bob Wallace (played by Peyton Hahn) put on a holiday production at a Vermont inn, not all the success is on the stage. The guys find their perfect mates in the talented Haynes sisters, Betty (played by Tonya Oslack) and Judy (played by Bonnie Emmer). The production, directed by Cathy Alter and produced by Kate Arnold, Peggy Goodwin, and Pat Furterer, includes over 30 local performers in big old-fashioned musical numbers like “Blue Skies” and “I Love a Piano” and, of course, the title song.
