Milford’s McCormick Elementary celebrated its fourth annual McCormickFest 5K and Festival on September 24th. The event took place at Miami Meadows Park and was a huge success, with more than 350 children and adults from the community in the 5k, and more than 1,000 people attending the festival. Festival attendees enjoyed a food truck rally, games, bounce houses, face painting, and a local business showcase.

With the support of McCormick families and community business sponsors, the PTO-sponsored 5K and Festival enjoyed its highest attendance to date. “It is fast becoming a wonderful fall tradition for McCormick students, families, and staff, as well as members of the local community,” said McCormick PTO volunteer, Elaine Mackey.

“The McCormick PTO is grateful to many local sponsors that make McCormickFest 2016 possible, including Athlete Instincts, Target, Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choice, UC Health – University of Cincinnati Physicians, Bear Paddle Swim School, Rinaldi Orthodontics, and Bright Futures Family Chiropractic.” said Mackey.
