Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati is offering circus tickets to select donors who roll up a sleeve this Friday, Feb. 17.
Anyone who donates blood at Hoxworth’s Tri-County location on Friday, Feb. 17 will receive a voucher for one free ticket valid towards select performances of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus, which will be at U.S. Bank Arena from March 10 through March 19.
“Winter weather and flu season have hurt blood collections in recent weeks, and we need healthy, eligible donors to come in and donate as soon as possible,” said Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “With this being the final year of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, we encourage our donors to make an appointment and get their ticket to see the show for the last time ever.”
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will close for the final time in May of 2017. The iconic circus has been in operation for 146 years.
The Tri-County Neighborhood Donor Center is located at 11812 Springfield Pike. Appointments for blood donation are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Donors can schedule appointments by calling (513) 451-0910 or by scheduling online at www.hoxworth.org.
