Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School’s soccer star, Rachel Ernst had just signed her letter of intent to play soccer at Kent State University and stopped to answer a few questions about her soccer career. She was at Loveland High School where four senior student-athletes participated in the National College Signing Day Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the school gymnasium.
Parents, Tom and Donna Ernst also spoke to Loveland Magazine about their daughter’s soccer play and her drive.
• Garnered National Soccer Coaches Association All-America, All-State First Team and ECC Player of the Year honors as a senior
• Holds individual records for games started (81), games played (81) and most consecutive games started (81)
• Aided Loveland High School to the Division I state finals and a 19-1-1 record as a junior
• Played club soccer for Ohio Elite Soccer Academy ECNL
