Loveland, Ohio – Loveland City School District has selected Matt Patterson as the next principal of Loveland Early Childhood Center.

“Loveland Early Childhood Center is where our youngest students get their start, and I believe Matt will be a great person to lead the building. He has the qualities that we value in a building principal – caring for kids and building relationships with our families, staff, and community,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.

Mr. Patterson’s experiences in Lakota, Mariemont, and Forest Hills school districts include intervention specialist, gifted coordinator, and assistant principal. He also has experience at the preschool and kindergarten levels, according to a news release by the District.

Patterson attended Miami University for his Bachelor’s Degree and Xavier University for his Education Administration Licensure. He lives in West Chester, with his wife, Kristin, and their three children.

Patterson is quoted in the news release:

“I’m extremely excited to join such a high-performing school district and lead the Loveland Early Childhood Center as their principal. I look forward to meeting my students and staff and serving this community.”
